CJ is the leader and co-founder of DrumsDogs. He has been a hand drummer for several years, starting at age eleven with a drumset and eventually discovering hand percussion ten years ago. During this period, he has been fortunate to teach others to drum in various styles, drum for belly dance troupes and lead drum circles ranging from five members up to fifty!

Among his experiences as a professional performer, he has performed with Zeora Sage and the Soulshakers, Obsidian Horizon, The Roses of Shalimar, Adelaide, Goro-Goro, and Village Mandala.
